Irina Antonova

Director, The Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts

Irina Antonova is director of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, where she has worked since 1945. She was appointed director in 1961.

Antonova has been awarded a number of commendations from both Russian and international organizations and is a member of the Presidential Committee on Conferring Awards, the Bolshoi Theater Collegium and UNESCO’s International Committee on Museums. She holds a degree in history from Moscow State University.
