Natalia Khanjenkova is the director for infrastructure and energy at the Russia Business Group of the European Bank for Reconstruction & Development (EBRD). She joined the bank in 1993, initially working on training projects, supporting the development of bank and business training centers in Russia and Central Asia. She then worked at the bank’s financial institutions team, focusing on extending credit to support small and medium-sized enterprises in Russia and in Georgia. Starting from 1999, following the financial crisis, Khanjenkova moved to the EBRD’s corporate recovery team. Before moving to Moscow in early 2007, Khanjenkova was responsible for the Russia portfolio at the EBRD’s credit portfolio review unit.
Khanjenkova holds a degree in international economic relations from the Moscow State Institute for International Relations (MGIMO).
