Sergey Kravchenko was nominated regional president of Boeing in 2002 to oversee the development of all the company’s divisions operating in Russia and the CIS. Before this nomination, Kravchenko was vice president of Boeing Civil Aircraft responsible for international coordination, strategy, new technology development and civil aviation services in Russia and the CIS. Before joining Boeing, he was a professor and chief research fellow at the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Kravchenko holds a PhD in applied mechanics and mechanical engineering and is a member of the following organizations: the Russian Engineering Academy, the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia, on whose board he sits.[an error occurred while processing the directive]
