Stephen Peel

Country Managing Partner, TPG Capital–Russia

Stephen Peel is a partner at TPG Capital, a member of the firm’s management committee and co-head of its European business. Peel has been with the company since 1997, when he founded its European office. He also recently set up the firm’s activities in Eastern Europe and Russia and lives between London and Moscow. Prior to joining TPG, from 1989-97, Peel worked at the investment banking division and principal investment area of Goldman Sachs in London and Frankfurt.

He received a master’s from Cambridge University and represented Great Britain in the 1988 Seoul Olympics.
